Four Drivers Killed In Queensland On The Roads

A woman has died in a two-car collision south of Gympie.

The cars crashed at an intersection at Long Flat on Tuesday afternoon.

The woman died at the scene while the male driver of the other car and his passenger were taken to hospital for treatment.

Less than 24 hours before, on Monday night, two women drivers died in a head-on crash at South Kolan, south of Bundaberg. They were aged 58 and 65.

A 27-year-old woman, a girl, 6, and a boy, 4, who were in the car with the 65-year-old were taken to hospital with relatively minor injuries.

Just two hours earlier a truck driver, 47, died when his vehicle rolled at Big Jack Creek on the Bruce Highway, north of Bowen.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating all three crashes.
