Good News After Little Girl Found Hanging From Swing By Neck

A little girl who was discovered hanging by her neck from the family’s swing has made a remarkable recovery.

Three-year-old Zoey Baillie was taken to hospital in critical condition after she was found not breathing in the horrific accident last Friday.

However, Police say the toddler has made a remarkable recovery in hospital – much to the joy of her family.

According to The Daily Mercury, the girl was playing on the swing set as her mother Shanah Grandison tended animals on the family’s property.

However, when the mother next checked on her, the young girl was found hanging with the swing's rope around her neck.

According to the Courier Mail, Shanah desperately performed CPR to save Zoey's life during the wait for medical crews.

The RACQ Rescue Helicopter was called to help transport the girl from the property, located 60 kilometres south of Mackay.

Her pulse returned before the flight landed to meet an ambulance.

Zoey was taken to Mackay Base Hospital where she was later transported to Townsville Hospital.
