How Long You Can Expect The Rain To Stay In Brisbane

After a long, hot summer, it looks like we can now enjoy a slight reprieve with forecasters predicting more rain to come.

Following the past week’s wet weather, we’re now being told it will hang around for at least another week.

While we’ve copped the worst of the drenching, possible showers and high humidity will be around till at least next Monday with a minimum 70% chance of rain.

Brisbane's already experienced more than the average rainfall for March in the first three weeks, averaging 150mm (the March average is 142.9mm).

Over the coming days the city is expected to see falls of up to 10mm.
