Incredible Photos Of Baby Girl Born With Two Heads

Doctors in Indonesia have delivered a baby girl with an incredibly rare condition which causes her to have two heads.

Incredible images show the tiny baby, who weighed 4.2 kilos, lying in an incubator at Ibnu Sina General Hospital in the East Java province of Gresik; she was also diagnosed with respiratory failure at birth, and is being closely monitored by doctors.

The unnamed girl has Parapagus, an extremely rare form of conjoined twins, where sufferers are joined at the pelvis but have two necks and heads.

As the baby only has one set of internal organs – and only one heart – it will be impossible to separate the two.

The disorder is thought to be a genetic mutation which occurs early on in pregnancy.
