Innocent Mother Killed In 'Senseless' Fiery Crash With A Sto

The family of a 48-year-old Adelaide mother who died in a fiery crash last night has labelled her death 'senseless'.

Nicole Tucker was killed when a stolen car allegedly driven by a 15-year-old boy struck her vehicle and two others. Police said the impact of the crash caused the woman's car to burst into flames. She sadly died at the scene.

Police will allege the stolen green Commodore ute was travelling 'well in excess' of 160km in a 40km zone when tragedy struck. A 13-year-old boy was also travelling in the stolen vehicle. Police say the teenagers fled the scene on foot but were arrested 40 minutes later.

In a brief statement to the media, Ms Tucker’s family said: 'Our family is devastated by this senseless death of our beloved wife and mother Nicole.'

'We are grieving and would appreciate our privacy as we come to terms with our loss.

'Nicole was a very loving mother and wife. Her life cut short too early.'

The drivers of the other cars involved were taken to the Flinders Medical Centres and treated for non-life threatening injured.

The 15-year-old driver was also treated for minor injuries and was kept under police guard. He's been charged with aggravated cause of death by dnagerous driving, illegal use and serious criminal trespass.

Police also allege the teenager broke into a house at Onkaparainga Hills sometime between October 4 and 5 and stole the ute.

He's been remanded in detention and will appear in court in November.
