Kidnapper To Be Extradited To Qld: Police
A man who allegedly kidnapped a 12-year-old boy for ransom and took him across state lines to NSW is due to be extradited to Queensland.
The youngster, who was snatched outside his Gold Coast home on Friday, has been reunited with his family who were involved in a financial dispute with the abductor, police say.
Officers found the boy 200 kilometres south in Grafton on Saturday following a tip-off from a member of the public.

He was in a car with a 53-year-old man who has been taken into custody.
The child was treated for scratches "consistent with being bound", Detective Inspector Marc Hogan said over the weekend.
The kidnapper had allegedly fallen out with the kid's family over "substantial" personal loans which prompted the extortion attempt.
Officers are expected to apply for his extradition in Grafton Local Court on Monday, after which he is due to be formally charged with kidnapping for ransom.
