Lizard Man’s Final Note After Killing Ex-Girlfriend

WARNING: Graphic Content

It’s been revealed a former bikie who was found dead with his ex-girlfriend on the Gold Coast left a note apologising to her parents.

Known by police as the ‘Lizard Man’, Bronson Ellery was an aspiring death metal singer and former Bandido bikie whose heavily tattooed face made him an unforgettable figure.

Following a volatile relationship with 20-year-old Shelsea Schilling, the pair were discovered dead in a Gold Coast unit on November 11.

After police ruled out any third party involvement in the mysterious deaths, the Courier Mail has now revealed what happened in those final moments on that fateful Friday afternoon.

According to three witnesses who were inside the Gold Coast unit, the 24-year-old strangled his former flame as she attempted to leave.

Having bashed her to the point of unconsciousness, Ellery suffocated Schilling with a pillow.

He then wrote a note to her parents apologising, changed into a suit, played his favourite song and laid down next to her lifeless body. He ended his life with a shot of prescription drugs.

It is believed Ellery received assistance to take the final dose, with police investigating whether he also gave Schilling a shot in those final moments.

One witness has told police how Ellery waved a shotgun in his ex-girlfriend’s face and threatened those in the room.

Her family have previously told how Schilling feared for her life, encouraging others to speak up in they were suffering from domestic violence.
