Man Armed With Screwdriver Robs Qld Servo

A man has been charged following an armed robbery at a service station in Logan, south of Brisbane.

It's alleged a 22-year-old man armed with a screwdriver threatened the assistant shortly after 11.30pm on Sunday before grabbing a quantity of food, including chocolates, lollies and pies, and damaging a glass door before escaping.

A man was arrested a short time later and will appear in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Monday charged with armed robbery and wilful damage.
