Man Dies After Being Stabbed Walking Down a Logan Street
A man has died in hospital after being stabbed in the neck while walking along a road in southeast Queensland on the weekend.
Police say the 37-year-old was walking along Ewing Road, in Woodridge, about 11pm on Saturday when he became involved in an altercation with a group of three men and two children, believed to be aged under 10.
During a scuffle, the man was stabbed in the neck.
He was transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition, and died on Tuesday night.
Police are hunting for those responsible.
Investigators have asked anyone with information about the group, which was playing loud music in Prince Park prior to the attack, to contact Crime Stoppers.
One of the men, who are believed to be aged between 20 and 40, is reported to have been wearing an orange high-visibility jacket at the time.
