Man Drives Car At Cops Before Pulling Loaded Gun On Them

A man who allegedly crashed a stolen car into a police vehicle before pointing loaded guns at officers in Queensland's Moreton Bay region will face court on multiple charges.

Police say officers were at a semi-rural property at Dakabin on Thursday morning when a man jumped into the stolen car and drove into nearby paddocks.

The officers parked their patrol car across a paddock gate but the man then allegedly crashed the stolen vehicle through the gate and into the police car.

It's alleged the man then pointed two loaded firearms at the officers before they managed to pull him from the vehicle and handcuff him.

A 26-year-old man will face 30 weapons, theft, fraud and driving offence charges, including dangerous conduct with a weapon, when he appears in the Petrie Magistrates Court on Friday.
