Man Wedged Under Train At Brisbane Station
Travel on three southeast Queensland rail lines was suspended after a man fell onto tracks and severely injured his leg at a north Brisbane station yesterday.
Police at the scene said the man, possibly visually impaired and aged in his 40s, accidentally fell on to the tracks at 4.13pm and was wedged under a train at the Virginia Station.
Caboolture/Sunshine Coast/Redcliffe Peninsula lines: Services currently suspended between Northgate & Geebung due to an incident requiring emergency services. Alternative transport is being organised to convey customers between these stations however major delays can be expected

The Queensland Ambulance Service said the man was transported to Royal Brisbane Hospital is a stable condition with a serious lower leg injury.
The incident created commuter chaos as the Sunshine Coast, Caboolture and Redcliffe Peninsula line services were suspended between Northgate and Bald Hills and buses called in to ferry passengers.
