Measles Alert Issued For Brisbane
A measles alert has been issued in Brisbane after a man with the disease travelled through the city's international airport.
The New Zealander spent time in the airport's transit lounge on July 24, while en route from Bali to Wellington.
Queensland Health says anyone who was in the airport at around that time should be alert.
Signs and symptoms of measles:
Tiny white spots with bluish-white centres on a red background inside mouth
Skin rash made up of large, flat blotches
Signs and symptoms usually first appear 10 to 14 days after infection.
