Melbourne's Cancer Con Woman Belle Gibson Back In Court
Belle Gibson, the woman who lied about having cancer to sell books, has been ordered to face court to explain why she has not paid a single cent of her $410,000 fine.
The Melbourne woman has been summoned to appear at the Federal Court next month and will be asked about her financial status.
If she fails to attend, a warrant can be issued to apprehend her.
The summons has come just weeks after it is alleged Gibson went on a luxury African holiday.
Consumer Affairs pursued Gibson, and won after he duped customers into buying her wellness app and cookbooks on false claims she had cured her brain cancer using natural remedies.
Ms Gibson must face the court on May 14.
