OOPS! Cathay Pacific Accidentally Rebrands Itself
In another episode of "HOW DID THIS EVEN HAPPEN?" the internet was overjoyed to see (and share!) images of a Cathay Pacific Boeing 777-367 with a huge spelling mistake...
But, unbelievably, this story gets even better.
The Hong Kong airline totally owned the mistake on their own Twitter channel, and rolled with the mistake in great form.
Oops this special livery won’t last long! She’s going back to the shop!

We love how chilled their social media team are!
And, can you believe, it gets even BETTER.
Someone - hopefully that same chilled social media time - created a Twitter account in the name of the "new" airline, Cathay Paciic. We're not sure how many times we can say 'YES!' at this, but let's just say it's many.
Hello world! Overnight we debuted as Hong Kong’s newest airline. We can’t wait to start flying and bring you our signature “Service from the Hart”. pic.twitter.com/oJrQs1V5gO
