QLD Man Tried To Set Woman On Fire

A Brisbane man who allegedly tried to set a 51-year-old woman on fire during a domestic dispute on Monday night has been charged with attempted murder.

The 55-year-old man will face Richland Magistrates Court on Tuesday, after being arrested at the Parkinson home, in Brisbane's south.

The woman was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital for treatment but was later released.

The man has been charged with attempted murder, acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, attempted arson, common assault, contravention of a domestic violence order and wilful damage.
