Queensland Health Announce Urgent Egg Recall

A batch of Sunny Queen Farms eggs have been recalled, according to Queensland Health.

The Sunny Queen Farms Organic Free Range 550g and 590g ranges with a best before date of 22nd June 2018 should not be consumed.

The Egg Stamp Code of the tainted product is ACO131.

"The recall is due to an isolated event involving the egg cleaning process at a supplier egg grading facility, meaning some eggs may not have been cleaned to the usual required standard," the statement read.

"This issue has been identified and rectified, but as a precaution we are recalling the stock detailed above.

"Consumers should not eat this product.

Any consumers concerned about their health should seek medical advice.

The above recalled products have been available for sale in Coles and Woolworths supermarkets in Queensland only."
