Brisbane is still experiencing bad weather today.
We're waking up to morning thunderstorms across the city -- as the busy storm season starts to unfold for the South East.
It comes as authorities warn, sometime Queenslanders can get complacent about the damage severe storms can cause this time of year.
The RACQ is also reminding us to get storm insurance claims in as soon as possible from recent wild weather.
Tributes are flowing for a young bodyboarder who died at Fingal Head yesterday.
20-year-old Dylan Carpenter lost his board in rough surf and tried to climb onto the rocks when he was hit by a wave and knocked unconscious.
Emergency crews searched for two hours before taking him to shore and trying to revive him but he died at the scene.
Family say he died doing what he loved.
The search resumes at first light today for the four crew still missing after their fishing trawler overturned off 1770 up north last week.
One crewman was rescued but six have been missing since the incident on Monday night.
Two bodies were retrieved on Saturday - they haven't yet been identified and it's not known where the remaining four are.
