Senior Gold Coast Cop In Court For Perjury

One of the Gold Coast's most senior police officers is due to face court over allegations she lied to Queensland's Crime and Corruption Commission.

Superintendent Michelle Stenner was suspended from her role after being charged earlier this month with three counts of perjury and a single offence of misconduct in public office.

The CCC has confirmed the charges relate to evidence given by Stenner during a hearing.

Stenner, 44, is due to face the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Thursday.
