Sentence for Brisbane man who Fatally stabbed stepdaughter
A man convicted of murdering his stepdaughter by plunging a knife into her chest will be sentenced in a Brisbane court on Wednesday.
In August, a Supreme Court jury convicted Raymond John Mead of murdering Sherelle Locke while she was watching TV with her mother in Boronia Heights in February 2014.
At one point in his trial, Mead claimed to have slipped and fallen, accidentally stabbing the 23-year-old.

When the jury announced its verdict, tense scenes played out in court with one woman who was there to support Mead storming out of the courtroom, shouting: "She deserved it".
The trial was told Mead detested his stepdaughter and openly blamed her for the ongoing problems in his marriage.
Mead's sentencing hearing will get underway in the Supreme Court in Brisbane in 10am (AEST).
