Should Money Matter When it Comes To Finding A Partner?

A new survey from the US has found that some women have set the bar too high when it comes to finding a partner.

The research found that many women refuse to "marry down" resulting in more middle aged singles.

The majority of the women surveyed say they are looking for a partner who is well-educated and also makes more money than they do, resulting in a large number of women finding their aren't enough 'eligible' men to go around.

These results reflect similar findings that more women are getting married later in life than ever before, with the delay believed to be linked to women placing an even greater importance on education and career than in the past.

The study revealed women are struggling to find a husband as there are too few high-earning men.

So what do you think? Are some women placing too high a value on how much their partner earns?
