Students Suspended After Incident At Australian School
Two petrified students ended up barricaded themselves in a school bathroom and called police as a mob threatened them on Tuesday.
Concerned parents at Killester College, Melbourne, told the Greater Dandenong Leader that staff at the school had to disperse 50 schoolgirls before the students could leave the toilets.
The whole situation was broadcast on social media and appears to have stemmed from comments made on social media on Monday night.
The attack was filmed on Facebook Live and reached 1,000 views before a teacher from another school contacted Killester Staff.
Killester College principal Leanne Di Stefano described the incident as “teenage girls name calling and a whole lot of other girls watching”.
Four students have been suspended and the entire Year 12 was called to an assembly at 11 am on Tuesday where staff expressed their shock and disappointment.
