Trick-Or-Treaters Sustain Injuries From Painball Gun

A Sunshine Coast teen has suffered facial injuries after being allegedly shot in the face with a paintball gun, while out trick or treating last night.

The 15 year old was transported to Sunshine Coast University Hospital after the incident, meanwhile his friend also allegedly suffered a blow to the cheek.

The incident occurred in Pelican Waters at approximately 7:15pm.

Two boys, aged 17 and 18, are assisting the police after the incident.

The teens were reportedly injured after the older teens drove past in a Toyota Landcruiser, taking aim at the younger teens with the paintball guns.

Three paintball guns were found in the boys' possession.
