Teenager Charged With ‘Serious Assault’ Over Concession Card

A teenager has been charged with serious assault after headbutting a bus driver at Mount Gravatt East on Saturday evening.
The 17 year-old boy, who boarded the bus with a female in the suburb of Mount Gravatt East about 6pm, became involved in an argument with the male driver over a concession card.
The male then headbutted the driver and tried to assault the victim further before fleeing.
The driver was taken to QEII Hospital with a facial wound and possible fracture, however, xrays have cleared him from serious injury.
