The Lengths Parents Are Going To To Save School Holiday Cash

Have you ever lied about how old your child is to get a discount on holidays? How about sneaking the little ones into a hotel room?

Well you're not alone.

A new survey by Wotif has revealed the measures parents are going to on order to save some holiday cash, and some are pretty extreme!

22% have admitted to smuggling the kids into a hotel to avoid paying for them, while more than half have told a fib about just how old their child is to get a freebie while travelling.

Other Mums and Dads (almost 40%) have chucked a sickie to get a few extra days in during the school holidays, while 25% have taken the family on a business trip that happened to coincide with the school break.

NSW school holidays kick off on Friday.
