A Melbourne family has been left broken-hearted after a therapy puppy used to help children in foster care was stolen.
The seven-month-old puppy Tallow, a King Charles cavalier, was taken from a backyard at Heidelberg Heights on Saturday.
The puppy provides support to foster children dealing with trauma, and is described as black, brown and white with a distinctive white mark on his back.
