Breakthrough In The Case Of Murdered Mum Karen Ristevski

Police are today searching for clues in the hunt for Avondale Heights' mother Karen Ristevski's killer.

Searches will be conducted on roads in the Mount Macedon area where detectives believe Karen Ristevki’s body was dumped.

Karen’s body was found wedged between two logs in a shallow bush grave at Macedon Regional Park on February 20 this year.

The search comes after a breakthrough in the case, with some people saying they saw Ms Ristevski’s black Mercedes-Benz in the vicinity of Childers Road and Mount Macedon Road at about midday on the day she went missing.

Another witness has said he saw a lone male near the car before the discovery of Karen’s body, which was found just 1.5km away from the sighting was made.

Ms Ristevski, 47, was last seen on June 30, 2016, after a fight with her suspect husband Borce Ristevski at their Avondale Heights home.
