There's A HUGE Change Coming To Coca Cola In Australia

Coca Cola are ditching their iconic red-and-white logo from today in support of the upcoming same-sex marriage vote.

The drinks giant will be rolling out the limited edition cans across the country on Wednesday September 13 in a very public bid to urge Australians to vote "yes".

Instead of that easily recognisable "Coca-Cola" script, the new fizzy drink cans will say "Love", with the "O" replaced with a little rainbow heart.

Sydney's iconic Coke signs have also been given a makeover; one has been given the rainbow treatment, while the other has now been altered to encourage the "Yes" campaign.

The new sign went live from 6pm on Tuesday night and will continue to flash until the deadline expires in November.

Every person has the right to happiness, so we believe it's time for a change in Australia," the company said in a statement.

"No matter whom you are or who you love, all couples should be treated equally."

The first ballots for the controversial postal survey are expected to drop into letterboxes across Australia from early next week.
