There's FINALLY Some Good News For Karl Stefanovic

After a bad few weeks for Karl Stefanovic, it looks like a dream is about to be realised.

After a 12-year-run of success for rival breakfast TV, Sunrise, the tide is about to turn.

With just six weeks of the 2016 rating period left, Today needs just one more week of victories to claim they are the number one show in Australia.

Today has won 20 of the 40 official weeks, and just one more will see them take the win and will end a 12-year wait.

If Today fails to take another week, then the ratings will come down to just 100 people, as one week was a draw between the two shows. If more of those 100 people watch Sunrise, then it will be another unsuccessful year for Today.

It's tight at the top! Let’s hope Karl wins, as it has been a tough month for the face of the Today show, who has split from his wife Cassandra Thorburn after 23 years of marriage.

He is believed to be living with his brother Peter and co-host Sylvia Jeffries while a settlement is discussed.
