It’s been revealed Tiahleigh Palmer’s foster brother Trent Thorburn thought he had impregnated the murdered schoolgirl.

Thorburn has been charged with incest, attempting to pervert the course of justice and perjury.

According to The Courier Mail, police will allege his father, Rick Thorburn, murdered Tiahleigh to keep secret their incestuous relationship and protect his son.
Tiahleigh's foster father was due to face Beenleigh Magistrates Court on Wednesday charged with her murder but the court heard he had been placed in an induced coma.
The 56-year-old was taken to Princess Alexandria Hospital overnight on Tuesday following his arrest over the 12-year-old's murder.

The case against Thorburn has been adjourned to December 21.
Thorburn was one of the pallbearers at Tiahleigh’s funeral and a registered foster carer at the time.
His wife Julene, 54, and another son, Josh, 20, have been charged with perjury and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
