Men Charged After Driving A Stolen Vehicle Into A Police Car

Two men have been charged after driving a stolen vehicle into a police car at Mount Gravatt East yesterday morning.

At around 10am, Police tried to intercept the Holden ute in the McDonalds drive-thru on Pine Mountain Road.

The vehicle was allegedly stolen from a Caloundra car yard, along with a number of other vehicles, two week sago.

The ute was driven at the police car, hitting it before speeding off and colliding with another vehicle and bin in the carpark.

Police tracked the vehicle to Kessels Road in Salisbury, the drivers again attempted to flee, driving into another police vehicle.

The male driver and passenger, both aged 30, were arrested and charged with a string of offences.

They're due in court this morning.

The estranged husband of the Australian teacher killed in Kenya has been arrested over her murder.

The ex-husband of Gabrielle Maina is the prime suspect after the mother of two was shot dead on the streets of Nairobi last week.

A man is dead and a major manhunt is underway following an attack in Kuraby, on Brisbane's southside overnight. 

A 35-year-old, father of four, was found in the front yard of his home on Saint George Street just after 12.30am with significant injuries. 

Police believe he may have been outside checking a power outage when he was set upon.

1,800 wealthy dads have been banned from leaving Australia for not paying Child Support.

They've been put on a "do not fly" list until they pay their share of 9.9 MILLION dollars to their former spouses.
