Urgent Recall On Aldi Hotdogs Over Contamination

Aldi supermarkets across Australia are recalling a range of frankfurt style hotdogs after a potential microbial contamination and the presence of foreign matter was found.

The NSW Food Authority issued the urgent recall on Berg Smallgoods American Style Skinless Hot Dogs in 375g plastic packs with the date codes up to and including a use by date of December 28.

It is believed that the foreign matter found in the hotdogs included bone fragments.

Affected customers can return the hotdogs to the store that they were purchased from.

People are being warned to avoid eating the hotdogs and anyone who is concerned about their health should seek medical attention.
