Woman Allegedly Sexually Assaulted In Random Home Attack
A woman has been sexually assaulted inside her own home in a “totally random selection or attack” according to police.
The female in her 20’s was asleep inside her Ipswich home when a man entered the unlocked property just before 9am on Sunday.
Police say the woman’s sister called police as the 46-year-old attacker fled from the Brassall property.

He was arrested a short time later as he walked away from the scene and is expected to front court today.
The Rosewood man faces charges over the sexual assault as well as entering a dwelling with intent to commit indictable offence, disable in order to commit indictable offence, assault occasioning bodily harm, deprivation of liberty, torture and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.
He has also been charged with two counts of stealing.
Police have warned people to ensure they lock all doors and windows to ensure their security.
