Woman In Coma After Hit By Brisbane Train
A woman is in an induced coma after being hit by a train at Grovely Station in Keperra this morning.
The incident happened just before 7:30am this morning, with the specific circumstances of the incident yet unknown.
Four witnesses -including the train driver - have been treated for shock at the scene.
The woman was transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women's hospital after receiving a blood transfusion on the train platform.
Trains on the Ferny Grove line remain suspended at the police's request.
"At the request of police, Ferny Grove line trains are suspended in both directions between Mitchelton and Ferny Grove stations. Customers can expect delays of up to 60 minutes," a statement reported on Translink.com.
"Alternative transport is transporting customers between Mitchelton and Ferny Grove stations. "
