Woman Robs Brisbane Bank At Knifepoint, Crashes Getaway Car
A knife-wielding woman has successfully robbed a southeast Queensland bank only to be arrested and charged after crashing the stolen getaway car.
Police allege the 35-year-old Ipswich woman stole a 76-year-old woman's car at the Corinda shopping centre on Tuesday before driving west to Lowood, west of Brisbane.

It was there that she robbed the Bendigo Bank on Walters Street and threatened staff.
However her getaway came to an end when she crashed into a truck near Ipswich during a police pursuit.
She is due to appear in the Ipswich Magistrates Court on Wednesday on a string of charges including armed robbery and robbery with violence.
