Queensland police say the woman aged in her 20s was confronted by a man when she went to the toilet block in the park about 10am on Wednesday.

He was armed with a knife and assaulted her before she managed to break free and flee.

Families of four men missing after a FISHING TRAWLER capsized off the central Queensland coast are hopeful they're still alive but police are preparing to SCALE BACK their search.

Land, sea and air searches will continue throughout the week, focusing on the coast off the the town of 1770 after the boat sank on October 16.

Bodies of the missing men haven't been found but Inspector Darren Somerville thinks it "very unlikely that the four persons are alive".
