Woman slashed in Qld supermarket attack
A man will face court accused of slashing a woman's clothes and wounding her with two knives in an attack in a Gold Coast supermarket.
Police allege the 45-year-old walked into the Biggera Waters business, removed two knives from packaging on the shelves and began pacing about the store about 12.30pm on Thursday.
They say he approached an employee at the back of the shop and slashed her clothes with the knives, causing two puncture wounds to her hip.
The man has been charged with entering premises with intent, stealing, wounding, wilful damage and trespassing.
He will appear before Southport Magistrates Court on Friday.
