"You Have Nothing": Parents Of MH17 Victims Unleash On Trump
Anthony Maslin, the father of three children who were killed when a passenger jet they were travelling on was shot down by a Russian missile has blasted US President Donald Trump for "kissing the arse" of Vladimir Putin and not holding the dictator to account.
Four years ago this week, Maslin and Rin Norris' children, Mo, 8, Evie, 10, and Otis, 12, lost their lives when flight MH17 was brought down by a Russian missile.
The children’s grandfather Nick Norris was also killed, along with 34 other Australians.
Mr Maslin unleashed on social media on Tuesday night, accusing Trump of "kissing the arse" of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
“Mr Trump, you invented and speak a lot about ‘fake news’,” he said.
“But let’s try talking about something that’s not fake ... let’s call them irrefutable facts.
“That passenger flight MH17 was shot out of the sky and 298 innocent people were murdered is an irrefutable fact. That the plane was hit by a Russian missile has been proven to be an irrefutable fact.
“That this killed our three beautiful children and their grandfather, and destroyed our life and many other lives in the process, is an irrefutable fact. That this happened four years ago today ... is an irrefutable fact.”
An international investigation concluded the missile that downed the jet was fired from a Russian anti-aircraft system.
