Barbara Walters says she now regrets her 2000 chat with Ricky Martin about his sexuality.

When it comes to journalism in the states Barbara Walters from The View is the queen, but when asked is there an interview she regrets she says it was her chat with Ricky Martin back in 2000 is a huge one.
Why? Because like any good reporter, Barbara wanted the facts on his sexuality, but now, she feels her "inappropriate" questions may have caused the end to his then booming career.
She explains:
"In 2000, I pushed Ricky Martin very hard to admit if he was gay or not, and the way he refused to do it made everyone decide that he was. A lot of people say that destroyed his career, and when I think back on it now I feel it was an inappropriate question."
Ricky has since left the music industry and is currently raising twin boys.
