WHY THE VOICE KEPT THE NIP SLIP A SECRET FROM TASH LOCKHART

It is possibly everyone’s worst nightmare to have a wardrobe malfunction in front of a large crowd let alone the entire nation on live television.

Well, unfortunately, that is what happened to one this year’s finalists, Tash Lockhart on Sunday night’s Grand Final of The Voice on Channel 9.

Lockhart, who had just performed the Crowded House classic Don’t Dream It's Over, was completely unaware of the extent of the embarrassing nip slip.

In fact, she wasn’t told about the incident until half an hour AFTER the show had finished.

Telling Hughesy and Kate on Monday, Tash said: “All the coaches and all the crew had been told not to tell me because they didn’t want it to hinder my solo performance.”

A Channel 9 spokeswoman said ‘’It was live TV, and we hope no one was offended.’’

Although like any great moment on live TV, Twitter users were quick to comment on the incident.
