Grant Kemp Claims He Has Proof Ali Oetjen Cheated On Him
This is one break up that’s just getting messier and messier with Grant Kemp and Ali Oetjen, who first got together on Bachelor In Paradise, continuing to take swipes at one another.
Grant has come out this morning responding to the claims Ali made in Stellar Magazine yesterday, telling Kyle and Jackie O that she’s trying to make herself the victim in this situation.
So just to catch you up, back when Bachelor in Paradise finished Grant and Ali fell madly in love and she even moved over to America where he lives to be with him. However, days later the pair split and it was announced that Ali would be Australia’s next Bachelorette.
While some rumours suggested that Ali broke up with Grant because he wanted to have a threesome (Although Keira Maguire who was also on BIP later revealed to Kyle and Jackie O that she had made this story up on Ali’s behalf), Grant claimed that the real reason for the breakup was that Ali cheated on him.
Speaking with Kyle and Jackie O back in May, Grant left out no details, alleging that he had walked into his house and caught Ali in the act with one of his friends.
“I walked down the front to find my friends, from my house, came back inside and he was going down on her on my stairs and I kicked her out of my house,” alleged Grant. “I left my house for five minutes and that’s what happened.”
Now just yesterday, months after Grant made these sensational claims, Ali finally responded, denying the whole thing and telling Stellar Magazine that Grant just wanted to create a headline.
“He wants to keep on grabbing those headlines. It speaks volumes for who he is really,” said Ali. “My major reason for not saying anything is that I don’t want to give him any ammunition or any reason to keep coming back in the limelight, which is what he wants,” she concluded.
In the spirit of tit-for-tatt, Grant has since taken the opportunity to slam Ali once again, telling Kyle and Jackie O this morning that he stands by his original story.
In response to Ali’s claims that he is just seeking media attention, Grant claimed that he only went to the media with the cheating story in the first place because she and Keira had allegedly smeared his name, saying he wanted a threesome.
“The whole thing about that is when that whole thing happened and like I walked in on her with my friend I wasn’t even going to put a story out about it,” said Grant to Kyle and Jackie.
“And then when her and Keira decided to try and get ahead of it to save her reputation and put that fake story out, which Keira admitted to doing on your radio show, then I was pissed and I was like, ‘I have to save my reputation’, because now this whole country thinks I’m the asshole when I’m not,” he alleged.
“I’m not going to stand for that, especially when you’re going to try and twist the story and make me look bad.”
Not only did Grant defend himself, but he also called out Ali for denying that she ever cheated on him. He alleged that he had legitimate, legal proof of the, let’s just say, “the incident”, happening.
“I literally have legal proof,” claimed Grant. “One of my friends was with me that vouched for me and went on record saying that he was with me when it happened.”
“I mean, she can say what she wants but if you were to subpoena my phone and go through my phone records in court, you would find all of the messages of her saying that she did what she did and that she feels horrible about it,” he continued to allege.
Grant concluded by claiming that there was no excuse for Ali doing what she did, let alone continually denying that it ever happened.
“There’s no excuse for it, like you know what you’re doing…you were coherent, you’re not a victim of any kind,” he alleged. “If I’m dating somebody and I wanna hook up with someone else I just break-up with them and then I go do that. There’s no point.”
Sheesh! This is getting suuuuuuper out of hand. Stay tuned to see if our next Bachelorette Ali has anything else to say in response after this!
