Monique Dews is a radio industry professional with nearly two decades of experience.
Currently waking up at 2.50 am each morning to race into 97.3FM to deliver you the freshest Brisbane news with Robin Terry and Bob!
Well, after her strong flat white with two sugars.
Monique studied at QUT Brisbane, and has returned to her hometown after 17 years in Sydney where she was a News Director of DMG radio for ten years, a guest FM news lecturer at AFTRS, and trained young broadcasters at Fox Sports.
She has been nominated numerous times for the national Best FM Newsreader award (ACRAS) and has won it twice.
Monique has also dabbled in professional voice overs.
She is married to corporate trainer Tony Biancotti and has two young kids.

Hope has worked for major metropolitan radio stations in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne as a journalist and news presenter for 20 years. During the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games she commentated the Australian Men’s and Women’s basketball matches for the Main Press Centre.
Her foray into commercial radio began in 1993 at 4BC. The following year she moved to Sydney where she spent five years at 2UE reading the national morning news for the Sky satellite network news service for more than 76 stations across Australia, as well as on-the-road reporting for 2UE news. She has also worked for Fox FM and Triple M, Melbourne and Gold 104 and Mix 101.1, Melbourne.
She graduated from the University of Southern Queensland , Toowoomba with a Journalism degree and is fluent in Tagalog, (Filipino) and knows French.
