Party Dresses, cocktail dresses, maxi dresses – there is a wonderful world of dresses for the party season!!
Eg: Brights and block colours, prints, long flowy numbers, super short. Depending on your event there is so much to choose from.

If you are on a budget and want to make the most of your party wear, my suggestion is to find something that you can dress up or down.  Something like a short bright party dress that can be worn with more casual shoes and accessories for daytime or BBQs BUT then with heels and accessories can be a cocktail party outfit.
Similarly, a long maxi dress worn with flats, beads and bangles and a big bag for daytime OR worn with wedge heels and sparkly accessories for a party dress.
