Briefs - The Male Burlesque Act are appearing at the Powerhouse in December. They were kind enough to drop into the studios to show the ladies here their special, clowning brand of Burlesque dancing. 

Following their successful season at the Edinburgh Fringe, Briefs’ beef-caked and disorderly line up of Australia’s finest performers and mischief-makers bring their circus-infused variety show for the not-so-faint-hearted to Brisbane Powerhouse from Wednesday 30 November to Saturday 3 December.

Fresh, raw and savvy, Briefs is a satire on burlesque that combines a wicked humour with gob-smacking physicality and not-so-bashful displays of flesh.  

The cast boasts an impressive roll-call of performers including Mark Winmill (reigning King of Burlesque as crowned in Las Vegas), Natano Faanana (Melb Fringe 2010 Circus Oz Award winner), Davy Sampford, Mali de Goey (of award winning companies Tom Tom Club and Acrobat) and Lachy Shelley with a toast from your host, MC and creative producer, Fez Faanana.
