STAN - THE BIGGEST DEAL IN ENTERTAINMENT

STAN - THE BIGGEST DEAL IN ENTERTAINMENT

Will & Woody both watch Stan religiously, and often talk at length about which shows and movies they’ve been enjoying.

In fact, it got to the point that the producers of their radio show got sick of them talking about it so much on-air, so had to make special conditions for them. The result? Woody is still allowed to review shows, but the producers get to set the conditions under which the review takes place. How? Through giving him a list of words he can’t say in the review, and setting a punishment for when he says any of those words.

Check back here each week as the boys review all the hottest shows on Stan, with a new punishment laid out for Woody each week.

AMERICAN COMEDY "miracle workers" gets 4 woody's out of five

This week, Woody chose to review STAN's hot new comedy "Miracle Workers" starring Daniel Radcliffe and Steve Buscemi.

The show synopsis is as follows: To prevent Earth's destruction, Craig, a low-level angel responsible for handling all of humanity's prayers, and fellow angel Eliza must answer a seemingly impossible prayer: help two humans, Laura and Sam, fall in love.

This week, Woody's punishment was totally hilarious. If he said one of the banned words, he would have to put his hand in the ??? MYSTERY CAGE ??? which contained a live animal.

stan Mini-series "i am the night" gets 4 woody's outta 5

This week, Woody reviewed STAN's much talked about mini-series, the mystery/drama "I Am The Night".

I Am The Night tells the incredible story of Fauna Hodel who was given away at birth. As Fauna begins to investigate the secrets to her past, she follows a sinister trail that swirls ever closer to an infamous Hollywood gynecologist, Dr. George Hodel, a man involved in the darkest Hollywood debauchery.

This week, Woody's punishment was incredibly invasive. If he said one of the banned words, Will got to read out one of his private text messages on air.

WOODY Reviews the hit Stan comedy "SMILF"

This week, Woody reviewed the 2nd season of the raw, honest comedy series "SMILF".

The show centres around Bridgette Bird, a smart, young single mom living in South Boston who is trying to navigate life with a very unconventional family. As she struggles to make ends meet, she strives to create a better life for her son, Larry, and often finds herself making impulsive and immature decisions. The program is a fresh, comedic look at co-parenting, motherhood and female sexuality. "SMILF" is adapted from Frankie Shaw's Sundance Film Festival Jury award-winning short film.

This week, Woody's punishment was bug based. If he said one of the banned words, he had to eat a spoonful of 'crispy crickets'. Yuck.

Black Monday, Featuring  Don cheadle, earns 4.5 WOODY'S OUT OF 5

This week, Woodrow decided to review his favourite new show, Black Monday.

"Black Monday" chronicles the 31st anniversary of the worst stock market crash in the history of Wall Street. To this day, no one knows exactly who caused the Oct. 19, 1987, stock market crash -- until now. Join some outsiders as they take on the blue-blood club of Wall Street. Join them as they cause the crashing of the world's largest financial system, a Lamborghini limousine, the glass ceiling, and Don Henley's birthday party.

This week, Woody's punishment was tennis themed, in line with the Australian Open. Rafael Nadal, who has just advanced to the final, loves to reverse wedgie himself, often seen wrenching his undies from his tooshy. So we brought in a fake Rafael, who likes doing real wedgies. Each time Woody said one of the banned words, he would receive a wedgie from fake Rafa.

WATCH as Woody reviews his favourite new show, The Truth About The Harry Quebert Affair.

Patrick Dempsey stars in the title role as Harry Quebert, a literary icon who suddenly finds himself indicted for murder after the body of a young girl is found buried on his property.

On this occasion, if Woody says one of the banned words, he has to take a giant gulp of slurpee to induce a brain freeze. Despite the freezing of his brain cells, he still managed to give the show 5 Woody’s out of 5, the best possible review.
