Bindi Irwin has taken to Instagram to post a special tribute video to her late dad and Aussie icon Steve Irwin on Father’s Day.
And it will bring you actual tears.
The sweet video features clips of a baby Bindi alongside her dad and mum Terri Irwin.
“It’s Father’s Day here in Australia,” the now 21-year-old wrote in the post. “Reflecting on these wonderful moments.
“Hug the people in your life who bring light to your heart and always remember that love lasts forever.”
‘The Crocodile Hunter’ Steve Irwin passed away in 2006 when Bindi was just eight years old after he was pierced in the heat by a stingray barb while filming a documentary.
Bindi just recently announced her engagement to fiancee Chandler Powell, revealing that she would honour her late father on the big day and would have her younger brother Robert fill in a very important role.
“I think that for me, it’ll be really important that Robert walks me down the aisle,” Bindi told ET in July. “That’s something that I really want to do.”
“I’m always so grateful that Robert is there, and he has been such a big part of my life and he’s always stepped up and been the one to give me a hug when I need it and encourage me forward in life,” she continued.
“So he will definitely be the one to walk me down the aisle when the time comes, and I think that will make it really special. And I think that’s what dad would’ve wanted as well.”
Bindi also revealed that her mum will step in for the traditional father-daughter dance as she’s been such a “pillar of strength” in her life.
