Channel 10 has revealed that this year’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here finale will not be live.

“The I’m A Celeb finale will be pre-recorded and air as live from South Africa on Sunday 17 February at 7.30pm on 10,” a spokesperson from Channel 10 said.

The reason is due to scheduling and costs.

The penultimate episode will air on Tuesday, when an elimination will leave 3 people remaining. However, 10 will then air Changing Rooms across Wednesday & Thursday, which means there will be no I’m A Celeb for 5 days.

Dr Chris Brown & Julia Morris will record the finale before they head back to Australia to launch their new show Sunday Night Takeaway.

The voting rules and cut-offs have not yet been announced.

Last night former AFL champ Dermott Brereton was eliminated.
