It’s considered to be the pièce de résistance of the Coles Little Shop Collectables being the most rare item available. The sparkly, glow-in-the-dark, little red hand.
With only 1000 of this particular miniature item created and the fact that the rare collectable comes with a Coles $100 gift card, people are desperate to get their hands on one.
There are only about 400 of the red hands left out there to collect but for those desperately trying to find one before the Little Shop promotion ends we have some good news!
The shops across Australia most likely to hand out the elusive item have been revealed by Seven News, giving collectors a list of hot spots to hit if they want a better chance at receiving the red hand collectable.
The Coles Little Shop red hand is most likely to be found at Coles in:
Queensland – Perigean Springs on the Sunshine Coast
NSW – Casula in Sydney’s southwest
Victoria – Hoppers Crossing in Melbourne’s southwest
Adelaide – Reynella
Perth – Ocean Keys shopping centre in Clarkson
For those unaware of the recent craze happening at Coles stores, the Little Shop Collectables are miniature versions of popular grocery items. Shoppers are given one item for every $30 they spend in store.
People have quickly become obsessed with the promotion with many people so desperate to collect every single item that they’ve been willing to spend hundreds of dollars on purchasing the items that they still need.
The promotion is due to end on September 11 after being extended from the original end date at the end of August, and it’s set to come to an end with a bang!
Coles have now launched an online photo competition which will see the country’s most colourful collector rewarded with a year’s worth of free groceries.
All you need to do to enter is upload a photo or video to Instagram and explain in 25 words of less why you’re Australia’s Ultimate Little Shopper tagging @coles and using the hashtag #ultimatelittleshopper in the caption.
