He’s already ruled the soccer field having been a star player for many professional football teams and he’s taken the modelling world by storm with Tommy Hilfiger even crowning the handsome man the world’s best underwear model.

But now it looks like Beckham is about to undertake a new career venture, with rumours suggesting that he’s about to hit our television screens with his own TV show. And nope it’s not a sports show, but a cooking show!

David has often spoken about his love for cooking and it’s now believed that he could be turning that passion into a profession after American TV bosses were so impressed with his guest appearances on Gordon Ramsay’s series, The F Word.

The 43-year-old is reportedly in talks with US TV Channel the Food Network to host a new series that would be based on 15 minute cooking segments with the Daily Star Sunday reporting that it will focus on healthy recipes.

“He’s not just another celebrity guest star having a quick laugh in a cookery show. David is the real deal and has an extensive knowledge of fitness nutrition from his playing days,” said a source.

“Tegan’s [David’s American trainer] recipes for power drinks are legendary and I’m sure David would want to appeal to fitness enthusiasts as well as foodies by featuring them on his mini-show.”

David has been known as a whiz in the kitchen, and has spoken about spending time with his kids and wife Victoria Beckham cooking up a storm.

“I was obsessed with perfecting risotto because it is difficult; you have to constantly stir and add ingredients,” he said recently. “Actually, I love cooking. It relaxes me. The kids love it too. Especially when I make Milanese risotto with saffron.”

David has been spotted around LA with Victoria recently and just last Thursday the pair were spotted leaving a restaurant in Beverly Hills with Gordon Ramsay and his wife Tana.
