The Sorry Not Sorry songstress captioned her Grammys announcement with, “I told you the next time you’d hear from me I’d be singing,”

The post which now has over 1.5 million likes and 41,000 comments has sent fans and pop music alumni into a frenzy, praising and celebrating the news.

Kristin Chenoweth simply said, “Yay!!”

Lovato has been teasing new music for a little while now. Her last post was a cryptic plain black image with the caption, “The next time you hear from me, I’ll be singing….”

Demi has had a tough few years, openly sharing her struggles with addiction which led to her shocking overdose in 2018.

The 62nd annual Grammy Awards will be hosted by megastar Alicia Keys and will air in Australian on Foxtel’s Arena at 11:00am January 27.
