Studio 10 appears to be struggling to hold on to it’s co-hosts with news circling that Denise Drysdale will follow in the steps of Ita Buttrose and Jessica Rowe and quite the morning talk show.

Entertainment reporter Peter Ford first broke the news to his social media following in a tweet yesterday saying that he had “exclusive” information about Denise leaving her post on the Network 10 show.

In a later tweet her told his followers that the news would be officially announced this morning on the Studio 10 program.

Speaking with Kyle and Jackie O this morning, Peter said that the reasoning behind her departure might have something to do with money and the fact that she constantly has to travel from the Gold Coast.

“Later this morning Denise Drysdale is going to announce that she’s quitting the Studio 10 show,” he said.

“I think for a start they don’t pay that much and she’s now got the new house all built on the Gold Coast and she’s got a new baby on the way…a fury baby, she’s adopted a dog…and she’s got the cat so when she comes down to Sydney it all gets difficult to try to organise someone to look after the cat and now the dog.”

Peter Ford also told us that Denise is going to be focusing more on her podcast with good friend and previous co-host of Studio 10 Jessica Rowe.

“They’ve got their podcast together, that’s going great guns and in fact they’re going to start going around doing live shows based on the podcast,” he continued.

Mr Ford believes that the news will be announced on Studio 10 this morning, however, he said that Denise hasn’t really been keeping quiet about it and has been telling people at her shows across the country.

“Someone tweeted yesterday that they’d overheard a conversation from Denise at the Coolangatta airport where she was talking on the phone saying that she’d quit the show,” said Peter.

“And so I put a tweet out in saying, Óh I wonder if anyone’s heard anything’, and tweets came back to me, she’s been on the road doing her club act around the country towns and apparently she’s been announcing it onstage.”

“So she’s been telling everyone but no one had actually told the staff working on the show, he concluded.”

We guess we’ll just have to wait and see if Denise actually does say goodbye for good on their show this morning which starts on channel 10 at 8:30am.
